Self And Time Management

INTRODUCTION:

While technology has made everything easy and with plenty of access to all information, we still don’t have enough time to manage our work. Managing our own life is something that has been taught to us while growing up. From a very young age, we were thought to pack our bags, prepare our uniforms, and get ready for school.

Self-discipline and time management are two skills that a child should learn at an early age of his/her schooling. As a part of their education, we should include teaching them the right values that will accompany them when they’re young and successful.

What is Self & Time Management:

“Time is Money”. The greatest accomplishment of one’s life is moving with time, as we’ve heard – Time does not wait for anyone. For which we should respect it and move accordingly.

However, there’s a difference between self-management and time management.

Self-management skills are your ability to regulate and control your actions, feelings, and thoughts. Whereas, Time management is the process of organizing and planning how to divide your time for specific activities.

If you manage yourself you can manage time.

How Will Self and Time Management help your child?

  • Effective time management allows students to complete more work in less time, and they are focused and determined in what they’re doing without getting distracted.
  • Efficient use of time also reduces stress, as students tick off items from their to-do list. It can also provide a sense of achievement of accomplishing goals.
  • By using time effectively, students can complete their work and have sufficient time to do the rest of their important activities.
  • Self-management improves the productivity level of their work/task that helps students perform and also motivates them to work harder.
  • It gives them the ability to work in a disciplined manner and allows them to focus their energy on one task at a time.

CONCLUSION:

The foundation of every successful student lies in his/her discipline and manners. With the help of the Finnish education system, we at TAS, aim to provide children holistic learning and help them manage their own time, which will lead them towards their brighter and successful future. With the best learning resource from Finnish education and support by TAS, the students will develop a remarkable identity of themselves that will contribute to an exceptional career.

Equality vs. Equity

INTRODUCTION:

Often there are discussions about ‘Equality’ within corridors of Education and Education systems, but little about ‘Equity.’ At TAS, we strive to offer both with the  Finland Education.

Equality means treating every student the same, whereas, on the other hand, while Equity means making sure every student has the support they need to succeed in their future & career.

The Finland education system brings Equity in education to ensure that every student has an equal chance of success.

At TAS, we work to carefully chart out for our learners a learning path full of love and support from the teachers and use advanced technologies to motivate them as they participate in fun learning activities.

Didn’t we all love growing up with minute attention from our parents and teachers for each task we did! Well, the Finnish education system brings the same experience to our children.

How will this affect the students at TAS?

  • We at TAS believe in providing students with equal opportunities. With this thought in mind, every student will get attention from teachers and be motivated to work towards a brighter future.
  • With modern technology, we will inspire students to spread their wings and explore the world of opportunities.
  • Along with the Finnish education system at TAS, we aim to design the education journey for each individual so that he/she gets the opportunity to choose an appropriate path for finishing an entire qualification or an additional skill set. The primary importance is on what the students learn and can do.
  • Equity education will also help in the healthy development of every child’s social and emotional growth. It will encourage the children to explore their interests and bring out the best.
  • With personal attention by teachers, students will be motivated to work on their passion and interests.

CONCLUSION:

At TAS, we believe that every child is unique and has the power to conquer the world of possibilities. With Finland’s education system, we are all ready to provide them with the best learning resource of their interest. With new and advanced technologies, we aim to give children an education that will contribute to their holistic development.

Self-Learning

INTRODUCTION:

While many people think that self-learning can be daunting, we believe it is the best way to understand concepts.

According to Malcolm Knowles, self-learning is “a process by which individuals take the initiative, with or without the assistance of others, in diagnosing their learning needs, formulating learning goals, identifying human and material resources for learning, and evaluating learning outcomes.”

In the age of independence and the 21st century, we want our students to feel highly capable of marching towards their goals with confidence and choose the right path towards a successful career. In this process, self-learning can be very useful.

With the Finnish education system at TAS, we aim to make it possible for children to go beyond their limits and learn. Self-study can always make a significant base for children in building a brighter future.

How will self-learning help your child?

●     Self-learning develops the ability to manage learning tasks without having them directed by others.

●     The skill helps in effective and lifelong learning.

●     Self-learning can build confidence in your child.

●     It helps your child in being independent.

●     It gives him/her the ability to progress without being dependant

●     It develops a sense of responsibility in the child.

●     It helps the child in planning and managing his/her tasks.

●     It creates a deep involvement of the child in what he/she is learning.

●     It encourages the child to escape the boundaries and learn beyond them.

●     It helps in understanding his/her flaws and limits.

CONCLUSION:

We at TAS believe that students have the power to make a positive change in the world. But to make this positive change possible, we first need to build an environment where they will feel independent and be allowed to make their own decisions. All this is possible with self-learning, which we will be introducing through the Finnish education system. Self-learning is essential to be a part of academics because students are expected to make some of their decisions independently, and it can be pretty confusing for them. That is why we think it is crucial for children to be self-sufficient and motivated because they can only progress in life.
